Lucknow: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and a former chief minister, stated on Friday that he may join the alternative political front formed by Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The SP president is actively putting up a platform to take on the BJP in the next UP assembly elections in 2022. He predicted that the governing party's fabric in Uttar Pradesh will be cleared, just as Mamata Banerjee's had been in Bengal.

"I welcome him," Akhilesh Yadav told the reporters in Jhansi (Mamata). The people of UP will wipe out the BJP in the same way that they wiped out the BJP in Bengal. "When the time is appropriate, we will talk about it," Akhilesh added. "The people would reject him," the SP president remarked in response to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's insult on Akhilesh. In the forthcoming elections, he will receive no seats. Tell us that Priyanka Vadra recently stated that the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has likewise dismissed the Congress.

Priyanka Gandhi raised concerns over Akhilesh Yadav's absence from Lakhimpur during a rally in Moradabad, western Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday. Akhilesh Yadav slammed the BJP today over PM Modi's opening of the Poorvanchal Expressway in Jhansi. He argued that the BJP was claiming credit for initiatives that his party had accomplished.
