Lucknow: Congress leader and former MP and minister Praveen Singh Aron, his wife, former mayor Supriya Aron, took over the Samajwadi Party (SP) from Bareilly on Saturday ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Supriya has been mayor from Bareilly. Apart from this, Rita Singh, wife of BJP MLA Mahavir Singh, also joined the SP.
Mahavir Singh, who had been BJP MLA three times, had passed away from Corona. All of them were inducted into the SP by Akhilesh Yadav. Meanwhile, SP National General Secretary Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav announced that SP National President Akhilesh Yadav will be the candidate from the Karhal assembly seat in Mainpuri. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav said that in view of the elections, some decisions have been taken for the people of UP, which will provide 300 units of free electricity, free electricity for irrigation of farmer's fields.
Akhilesh Yadav said that if our government is formed in this assembly election, we will provide employment to 22 lakh youth in the IT sector. Akhilesh Yadav further said that today is the 22nd and the Samajwadi Party is determined to provide employment and jobs to 22 lakh youth in the IT sector.
