Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh CM and Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the Centre's Modi government by raising the issue of farmers. The SP chief has termed the Modi government as anti-farmer and said the government wants to make farmers slaves. Akhilesh Yadav has written on his official Twitter handle that the BJP government has been anti-farmer since 2014.

Akhilesh wrote that after the mis-effort of "land acquisition", the BJP now wants to make farmers dependent on big traders through agriculture ordinances. The BJP wants to enslave the farmers by naming these ordinances as ' freedom of farmers '. In fact, Akhilesh has targeted the government for the benefit of big traders and the passing of new ordinances on the sale and purchase of farmers ' crops. Akhilesh has said that once again the BJP government wants to make small farmers slaves to big farmers and landlords.

Earlier also, Akhilesh Yadav had taken over the central government. He tweeted on September 10, "In the history of independent India, this government has officially made the most of the money out of the country abroad. This has been due to the wrong policies of the BJP, demonetisation, faulty GST, fear of economic instability and saving and benefiting some of its pro-capitalists. The BJP has sunk the country. ''
