Varanasi: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav is on a three-day Purvanchal tour from today. Before leaving for Jaunpur, Akhilesh Yadav, while talking to the media at Babatpur airport, attacked the government fiercely. He said that the BJP has forgotten the promises made to the people as soon as it comes to power. It does not even remember its pledge.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP should answer to the public that when the smart city will be built, why is the Goddess Ganga dirty? He said that due to the increase in the prices of diesel and petrol, the government must have collected two and a half lakh crores before how many days. The BJP is not deliberately talking about jobs. Speaking on inflation, Akhilesh said that everyone is fed up with inflation. Poverty and unemployment have increased in UP.

Regarding crime, Akhilesh Yadav has said that the people of UP are waiting for the Samajwadi Party. When will get a laptop? When will get world class infrastructure? The people of Banaras are waiting for when the Ganga will be clean. He questioned that the government should tell how long the poor will get vaccine? How long will everyone get the vaccine.
