Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said that Samajwadi party pension will be reintroduced after coming to power. But this time, not 6,000 rupees per annum, 18,000 rupees will be provided to the needy. Akhilesh Yadav said in Lucknow that the Samajwadi pension scheme will be reintroduced in Samajwadi Party (SP) government and under it, a pension of Rs 18,000 will be provided every year to needy women and BPL families.

Akhilesh Yadav further said that the socialist people have a deep connection with the snake charmers. After the formation of our Government, a Snek Charmer Village will be set up along the expressway. This attachment is also because those who come from outside have called India a land of snakes in their studies somewhere. Land for the scheme was allotted in the previous Government. Now, after the formation of the government this time, the Snake Charmer Village will be set up along the expressway.

Just today, Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Reacting to this, Akhilesh Yadav said, "My best wishes to her.'' However, Akhilesh did not say why Aparna left the Samajwadi Party.
