Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav will launch the party's 'Har Ghar Fahre Rashtradhwaj Tiranga Abhiyan' by giving national flags to all the people of the village at Jhauwa under Tirwa tehsil of Kannauj on the Kranti Diwas on August 9. Along with this, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will also appeal to every citizen to hoist the flag at their respective residences on August 15.

During this time, Akhilesh Yadav will also meet the family members of the freedom fighters of the area and pay respect to them. He said that on August 8, 1942, in Bombay (now Mumbai), the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had given the mantra of 'Karo Ya Maro' to the country with the proposal of 'Angrezo Bharat Chhodo'. It is a day to pay obeisance to the martyrs who were martyred in the freedom struggle. Let us know that as per the direction of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, on the occasion of revolution day on August 9, the 'Desh Bachao-Desh Banao' Samajwadi Padayatra will start. The yatra will be launched by student leader Abhishek Yadav and his associates from the District Samajwadi Party office in Ghazipur.

With this, the SP has appointed observers for preparations for the municipal elections. All the observers will go to their respective districts and prepare for the body elections and prepare a panel of candidates. Farid Mahfooz Kidwai, Amitabh Bajpai, and Dharamraj Singh have been appointed as observers of Lucknow.
