'Our govt was formed, EC cut Yadav-Muslim votes..,' Akhilesh unable to accept defeat

Lucknow: Before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024, many opposition leaders are considering themselves as the strongest contenders for the post of Prime Minister. At the same time, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has made it clear in gestures that he is not in the race for the post of PM. He made this statement after starting the two-day convention of SP on Thursday (29 September 2022) in Lucknow. During this, Akhilesh also said that he wants to play an important role to defeat the BJP.

Along with this, Akhilesh while addressing the party leaders and workers said, 'This fight is big. We have no dream of reaching the post of PM. Samajwadi have only one dream, to drive out the forces that are dividing society.' Taking a jibe at the BJP, Akhilesh said, "Even though the SP has lost in the recent elections, these results have made it clear that only Samajwadi Party can defeat the BJP in UP." SP has also shared the video of Akhilesh Yadav on its official Twitter handle.

In this video, Akhilesh is saying 'The government that has been made is not made by the people, they have snatched this government from you. The public also did not believe how this government was formed. The government of Samajwadi was formed in UP, but your government was snatched away by putting in complete machinery. From which we expected the most, that the Election Commission at the behest of the BJP removed the names of SP voters from the voter list. Deliberately reduced the votes of our Yadavs and Muslims. If we check and see, it will be known that 20-20 thousand votes were deliberately mismanaged.'
