Mumbai: Bollywood player Akshay Kumar's new film 'Laxmmi Bomb' has come into controversy before the release. The makers of the film have now decided to change the name of this film to stop the controversy. Now the word bomb has been removed from the name of this film. The new name of the film will be just 'Laxxmi'. Let us tell you that the film Laxxmi is going to be released on November 9 on the OTT platform Disney Hotstar.
This film, directed by Raghav Lawrence, was sent for censor certificate on Thursday. After the screening, the film was discussed between the filmmakers and CBFC. Keeping in mind the sentiments of the people, the producers of the film- Shabina Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshaya Kumar have decided to change the name of the film.
Earlier, actor Mukesh Khanna also opposed the name of this film. He wrote in his social media post that, 'Let's talk about the title of the film. Adding bomb with Laxxmi seems to be a commercial advantage. Should it be allowed? Obviously not!
