Today is Akshay Kumar's birthday, who is known as the player in Bollywood. Akshay Kumar has not only made a place in the hearts of the people, but he has also earned excellently by giving extraordinary films. Akshay Kumar was born on 9 September 1967 and today he is celebrating his 53rd birthday. The journey to Bollywood has not been easy for Akshay. He has made his place in Bollywood after working hard. Akshay Kumar dreamed of getting a job after completing his studies. He was also a great dancer since childhood.

He himself has told that he never thought about acting. In his college days, Akshay took the biggest decision of his life and thought of making a career in martial arts and after that, he moved to Bangkok. There he worked as a waiter and also took training to become a chef. After that Akshay took a black belt in Taekwondo and returned to India from Thailand. There he started teaching martial arts but his earnings was very less. After that Akshay started looking for a job. According to a report, he got his first job as a peon in a travel agency in Kolkata. He worked there for about one and a half years and after that, he went to Dhaka as a salesman.

After returning from there, he worked as a jewellery trader in Delhi and later again worked as a martial arts teacher in Mumbai. It is said that when students came to him to learn martial arts, they used to advise him to go into modelling. Accepting their advice, Akshay tried his hand at modelling and today he is a great actor and rest they say is history.
