Akshay Kumar is the one actor whose last releases whether it is Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Jolly LLB 2, Rustom or Airlift did extremely well at the box office. When every other big actor's films tanked at the box office only Akshay is standing strong. His this year and next year's calendar is full.

He is shooting for Reema Kagti's Gold and then will start promoting 2.0 and PadMan. Also, he has signed a film titled Kesar reportedly based on The Battle of Saragarhi. Now, he has signed Farhad of duo Sajid-Farhad's directorial debut reportedly titled Land of Lungi (LOL).

Reveals the source, "Akshay hasn’t done a South remake since Boss, so this will be a good change for his fans."

The source further said, "Akshay is very comfortable with Farhad’s brand of humor. As for Akshay and Sajid, this will be their ninth film together. They make a great team and are good friends, too. The original film had done good business, and looking at the combination that has come together for the remake, this seems like a safe bet."
