The new season of Kapil Sharma's comedy series, The Kapil Sharma Show, debuted on Saturday (September 10), featuring the star-studded cast of the movie Cuttputlli, including Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, and others. Watch out for Kapil's changing wardrobe now that he has returned as the show's host and is more physically fit. The host's transformation was credited to his wife Ginni Chatrath by special guest Archana Puran Singh. The audience missed Krushna Abhishek as Sapna. For the uninitiated, Krushna quit the show over agreement issues. The dynamic between him and Kapil hasn't changed as a result, and they recently travelled to Melbourne, Australia for their live show.

One such comedian-actor who has remained a part of Kapil Sharma's for the majority of seasons is Kiku Sharda. His appearance as Gudiya Laundry Wali left everyone in splits. Akshay Kumar was approached by Kiku's character, who asked him to apologize to Ranveer Singh. The Khiladi star was startled by this statement made by Kiku and asked the reason behind this. Kiku responded that Ranveer Singh had ordered clothes, but they hadn't arrived in time, so the Bajirao Mastaani actor had to pose for the photoshoot in total nudeness. Akshay Kumar couldn't stop laughing after hearing this.

Akshay Kumar appeared to be in a good mood as he jokingly discussed how his most recent movies weren't doing well at the box office. Rakul received praise from Kapil for working with the top actors in back-to-back movies. When Kapil said, "Your films are doing so well and you are earning so much," Akshay stepped in and claimed that the man has an evil eye and jinxes everything. Akshay then claimed that this is why his films have stopped performing at the box office.

With his one-liners, Kapil Sharma has become more daring. He joked with Jackky and Rakul about their relationship and brought up Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi's widely-reported relationship with her Aarya co-star Chandrachur.

The popular segment "Post Ka Postmortem" has been kept on The Kapil Sharma Show even though there are many new additions this season. The newest actors to join the cast are Srishty Rode as Ghazal, Sidharth Sagar as Ustaad ji, Gaurav Dubey, Ishtiyak Khan, and Srikant Maski.
