Akshay Kumar on joining Politics: I am very happy making films

Bollywood’s  Khiladi Akshay Kumar  is one of those actors who is very active and is famous not only for his acting but also for his social work. His movies like Padman, and Toilet deals with different social problems and their solutions. He has also done various patriotic films. He always remains in the news as he shares his thought about the politics in the country very frequently. Therefore there are rumours that he might join politics in future. But Khiladi recently give his take on joining politics.

He is currently in London with his family and recently during an event there, he opened up about joining politics. The actor expressed that he was happy being in films and producing movies on social issues.

 For his upcoming film  ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Akshay highlights the issue of dowry. At the film’s trailer launch, the actor said, “While doing films, I just don't speak about the problem. I also look for solutions.  Talking about rumours of him joining politics he said that I am very happy making films... As an actor, I do whatever possible to take up social issues.

In his upcoming movie, Raksha Bandha he wants to marry off his four sister first and then want to marry his love of life Bhumi Pednekar who is playing the role of Akshay’s Fiancee in the movie. But due to unfavourable circumstances, he was not able to do so. The trailer of the movie is getting love from the audience and Akshay is also promoting this movie on different platforms.
