Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is currently in the news for his new films. The actor's film Sooryavanshi is coming soon. The film has been completed for a long time but the bus is getting late for release. The film was scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid last year but it could not happen. The film was then supposed to hit the theatres this year too but now it doesn't seem to come amid the coronavirus pandemic. At present, the second wave of corona virus has wreaked havoc in the country.

There is a huge cloud of doubt over the release of the film. Now, if a report is to be believed between all of them, film director Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar have mutually agreed on the release date of the film. There are reports that if the situation improves and theatres open, the producer-director may release the film on August 15. But apart from that Akshay has another film which is stuck for release after the shoot is over. The film is titled Bell Bottom and is also set to release on the 15th of August. According to a report, the makers of Akshay Kumar's film Bell Bottom are gearing up for a direct to digital release. According to the information received, the film is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on August 15.

According to the news that is coming out, the streaming owners have paid a hefty sum to the makers for Akshay Kumar's film for the film. Instead of waiting for the film to release on theatres, the menares are planning to release it directly on OTT. However, it remains to be seen which of these films will be released on August 15.
