IAkshay Kumar starrer Kesari is doing a good business at the box-office. Achieving a massive feat, the film has now minted an impressive figure of Rs 150 crore at the Indian box office. The film  revolves around the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi wherein 21 Sikhs of the British Indian contingent took on an army of 10,000 Afghan invaders.

film's producer Karan Johar shared this news on his Instagram feed. He wrote, "The power of #Kesari! Running successfully in cinemas near you!"

Interestingly, the film also marks Akshay Kumar's first Rs 150 crore-grosser in Bollywood. Even though the Hindi version of his Tamil film, 2.O, co-starring Rajinikanth, had minted a solid figure of more than Rs 190 crore, this is his first 150 crore club film in Bollywood.  

Noted, trade analyst and movie critic, Taran Adarsh, also shared the film's earnings in a tweet and declared the film a hit. While the film minted Rs 105.86 crore in its first week, Rs 29.66 in the second and Rs 11.69 crore in the third, the fourth week, so far, has seen an earning of Rs 3.70 crores making its total figure to Rs 150.91 crores.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead and Jointly bankrolled by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment, the film released on March 21 and to date, it's attracting viewers to the theatres.
