In the photo, Akshay can be seen taking a selfie with his mom and both are smiling away. In the photo, Akshay can be seen dressed in a black tee while his mom can be seen sporting a baby pink tee. Both can be seen going the casual route in terms of their attire.

However, Akshay is a complete family man and loves spending time with his family. From time to time, he ensures he spends time with his mother and also shares some glimpses of that time on social media. Last year, on Mother’s Day too, Akshay Kumar took to social media to share an adorable photo with his mother and sister. The bro-sis duo could be seen kissing their mother on the cheek. Akshay’s caption read, “As the sun sets in our home, the light within us shines because of this very woman. Our Mom, our hero. Our reason for eternal sunshine. Happy Mother's Day,'”

On the professional front, Akshay will be seen portraying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the upcoming historical war film, Kesari. Based on the battle of Saragarhi, Akshay will be seen playing a valiant and brave soldier who along with his army of 21 Sikhs fights 10,000 Afghans. The movie’s trailer left everyone excited. Kesari is slated to release on March 21, 2019.
