Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has also come into controversy over a promotional video before his North America tour, in which he is being shown walking on the map of India. Akshay's post has sparked anger among netizens and is also being called an insult to the map of India. Actor Akshay Kumar also uploaded the controversial video on his social media handle on Sunday. The video also features Bollywood actresses Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, Nora Fatehi, and Sonam Bajwa. Although they were not walking on the map of India, only Akshay is seen walking on the India map in the Globe, on which people's anger erupted.

Reports say that the video has been made to promote the North America Tour of the Stars in March this year. Sharing the video, Akshay Kumar tweeted- "The Entertainers are all set to bring 100% Shuddh Desi entertainment to North America. Fasten your seat belts, we’re coming in March!''

The backlash on this video is very different, as some netizens also questioned Akshay's loyalty, pointing to his Canadian citizenship. Earlier, when the question was raised, Akshay had said that he has decided to give up his Canadian citizenship and applied for an Indian passport.
