Monday morning has been very sad for Hollywood and the music world. Songwriter Alan Merrill of the famous song 'I Love Rock n Roll' is no longer with us. He died at the age of 69 due to Coronavirus. Alan was the man who not only wrote the song 'I Love Rock n Roll' but he also performed it for the first time. Later this iconic song was chosen by Joan Jett and 'The Blackhearts'.

Alan Merrill was a songwriter as well as a guitarist. Alan's death is reported to his world by his daughter Laura. In a long post, Laura wrote passionately that her father died due to corona virus infection. Laura wrote on Facebook, 'The corona virus killed my father this morning. I was given two minutes so that I could meet them one last time. He looked very calm. When I came out to meet him, I still hoped that he would survive.'
