Karan launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra through the film 'Student of the Year' released in 2012 which was also very successful at the box office. The film 'Student of Year 2' released in the year 2019, the audience did not like anything special. Tiger Shroff was seen as the lead hero in this film made under the banner of Karan Johar.
