Alert MP about Omicron! 174 from high risk countries not investigated

Bhopal: New variants of Corona have been found infected with Omicron in neighbouring states of Madhya Pradesh. After this, the risk of infection in the state has now increased. On the other hand, cm Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting on the situation in Corona last Monday. During the meeting, health department officials are said to have informed about the information of people from abroad.

Officials say that the testing of passengers coming from abroad in the state is not even taking place far-flung tracking. In fact, health department officials said that from 24th November to 6th December at 8 am, 1668 passengers have arrived in the state from abroad, out of which only 785 passengers have been traced so far. However, 883 passengers are still missing. The most serious thing during this period is that 697 passengers came to the state from high risk countries, out of which only 523 were sampled for RTPCR testing. That is, 174 people were not even RTPCR investigated. It is said that the reason why people are not traced is because the address and mobile number are wrong.

At the same time, mobile phones of many people are also coming off. Moreover, some people have left their addresses in other cities. Let us also tell you that health department officials say that 2192 reports of genome sequencing were received in the state before November, out of which 819 have received variant of concern. With this, delta (triple mutation) in 726, UK strain (alpha) in 79 and delta plus mutation in 14 have been found. According to the health department's report, the report is of old samples. The list does not yet report 218 samples sent from Bhopal and Indore after November 1.
