Alert issues on Indo-Nepal border on Independence Day

Gorakhpur: SP Rohit Singh Sajwan, who went on a tour of the border area on the eve of Independence Day in the country's largest state UP, visited the Sonouli border of Nepal and inspected the security arrangements. After meeting with local officers, he gave necessary guidelines regarding security arrangements at the border. Police and SSB personnel are alert in the border area including Thoothibari, Jhulnipur, Bargadwan, Bhagwanpur.

On Friday afternoon, SP Rohit Singh Sajwan, who reached Sonouli, held a meeting with the officers of Nepal in the police post. He instructed to be alert about Independence Day and intensify patrolling. He further said that he is alert on the border regarding Independence Day. The same was allowed from Nepal officials for border security and joint patrolling. On this occasion, SDM Nautanwan Abhay Kumar Gupta, District Officer Ranvijay Singh, Kotwal Sonuli Ashutosh Singh, Inspector Belhia Ishwari Officer etc. were present.

SSB personnel were alert on the border with the Dog Squad Team at the Thoothibari border. BOP incharge Lalit Mohan Doval said in his statement that alert is being taken keeping Independence Day in mind. Incharge Kotwal Ajit Kumar told that vigilance is being taken in the border area. People are urged that if there are any suspects, then immediately tell the police. The security has been done for Independence Day, and everyone has been alerted.
