NCP leader Sharad Pawar has condemned the mob violence in Palghar in Maharashtra amidst nationwide lockdown and corona crisis. Sharad Pawar said that whatever happened in Palghar should not have happened, it is unfortunate and condemnable. The police took swift action and arrested more than 100 people involved in the incident in one night. Further investigation is going on.

Two saints of Juna Akhada, Mahant Sushil Giri Maharaj (35), Mahant Chikane Maharaj Kalpavriksha Giri (65) along with their driver Nilesh Telgade (30) were going from Mumbai to Surat for the funeral of their partner.
