NCP leader Sharad Pawar has condemned the mob violence in Palghar in Maharashtra amidst nationwide lockdown and corona crisis. Sharad Pawar said that whatever happened in Palghar should not have happened, it is unfortunate and condemnable. The police took swift action and arrested more than 100 people involved in the incident in one night. Further investigation is going on.

In his statement, Sharad Pawar further said that the state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray talked about the incident and said that we will do whatever we can. Pawar further said that due to rumors, some people are questioning the law and order of the state. This is not right.
