Alia Bhatt is well known for playing different kinds of roles in Bollywood movies. The actress has played many versatile roles like Kaira in Dear Zindagi, Veera in Highway, Safeena in Gully boy,  Mary Jane in Udta Punjab, Sehmat in Raazi and now the teaser of her movie Darlings is released on Tuesday. In Darlings she is not only playing the lead role but also debuting as a Director.

Alia Bhatt, on Tuesday, shared the teaser of her dark-comedy film Darlings. She took to her Instagram and shared the teaser along with the caption, "It’s just a tease Darlings. Arriving 5th August #DarlingsOnNetflix." After the release of its trailer fans and Bollywood celebrities are showering their love to Alia.

Darlings is a dark comedy-drama. Shefali Shah is playing the role of Alia’s mother and Vijay is playing the role of her Husband.  In the teaser, you will see the mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in Mumbai and facing different circumstances with courage. The look of Alia and Shefali in the movie is very authentic and you will also hear a voice-over which put light on the story of the movie.

The official release date of the film is still awaited. It will exclusively stream on the OTT platform Netflix. This year proved to be very lucky for the Raazi actress. After her marriage and pregnancy, the actress is all set to win the heart of the audience through her movies, Brahmastra and Darlings.
