In such a situation, Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan has tweeted after the case of the hanging of Afzal Guru after the arrest of the recently suspended DCP Davinder Singh.  Afzal Guru was hanged in February 2013, but his letter had written about Davinder Singh. In a letter to his lawyer, he made many shocking revelations about Davinder Singh. At the same time, Afzal Guru's wife Tabassum had alleged that "Davinder Singh had asked for one lakh rupees in exchange for the release of her husband".

At the same time, Soni Razdan has questioned the hanging of Afzal Guru in this case. She recently wrote in the tweet - "This is the malice of justice." If he is innocent then who will be able to bring him back. This is why the death penalty is not to be used lightly. Why should Afzal Guru be made a scapegoat, there should be a concrete investigation as well? In her second tweet with this, she said- "No one is saying that he was innocent but he was tortured. Shouldn't this case have been thoroughly investigated? Why did no one take seriously the allegations made by Afzal Guru on Davinder Singh? It is critical.
