More than 290 people were killed  in bomb blast in 3 churches and 2 hotels. According to the sources, explosions hit 3 churches and two hotels in Sri Lanka on Sunday, injuring at least 100 people as worshippers attended Easter services.  Many celebs and cricketers like Huma Qureshi, Soha Ali Khan, Virat Kohliand many others expressed their heartfelt condolences for those, who were affected in the blasts. Now, the Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt expressed her opinion after the Sri Lanka blasts that happened yesterday. The attacks have left hundreds of people injured and 35 plus foreigners are also said to have been killed during the attacks that happened at various locations on Easter Sunday.

Alia Bhatt took to social media to express her angst regarding the inhumane and atrocious attacks. She wrote, "Heartbroken at the news from Sri Lanka. Why do innocent people have to die? What is the point of all this meaningless violence? If only all this energy went into bringing peace, it would unite the world rather than dividing it."
