The fans are very excited since the announcement of sequal of Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt starrer movie Sadak, Announcing the OG actors to be a part of the second instalment too, Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt were also seen in the photos that surfaced on the  internet, which saw the star cast sitting on a couch with the director Mahesh Bhatt. Now, actress Alia Bhatt shared that when she will start the shooting of the film.

During the promotions of her next release Kalank, Alia Bhatt confirmed Bollywood Hungama, that she will commence shooting for Sadak 2 in May 2019. She was quoted as saying by the entertainment portal, “I will start shooting next month.” Alia Bhatt would reportedly also be lending her vocals to the soundtrack album of the movie. “I will be lending my voice for a song in Sadak 2. There is a large and important chunk of the film that we will shoot in May,” she was cited as saying by CineBlitz.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt would next be seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank which boasts of an ensemble cast headlined by Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The epic period drama, set in 1945, is slated for an April 17 release.  She would then be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 20, 2019.
