After winning hearts and ruling the box office in January 2019 with Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal has been super busy with the next few movies that have been lined up. One of them is Karan Johar's period drama and multi-starrer Takht which the star will soon start filming for.
In a chat show, the actor was quizzed about Takht and who he thinks will be the best actor among all. Vicky said, "Alia's part is magical." Vicky and Alia gave one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 2018 with Raazi.
Apart from Vicky and Alia, the star cast of Takht also includes bigwigs such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, who are all essaying important characters in the film. Recent reports had suggested that owing to Vicky's rise in stardom, Karan Johar had reconsidered the script and rewritten it to give Vicky a meatier role which equals Ranveer Singh.
However, Pinkvilla debunked these reports and had informed that such reports were 'baseless' and 'untrue'. A source close to the development had said, "Nothing of that sort has happened. Karan's script has not changed even once since it was planned.” He said.
“No such alterations have been made to the narrative. Each actor has received the same script and has been informed about their roles. Everyone has an important part to play and contribute to the plot. There's no confusion and people shouldn't create trouble when there's none." The star concluded.
