While recording the statement in the court, Advani said, 'I have been implicated in the direction of the central government of that time.'

Earlier on Thursday, BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi had recorded a statement through video conferencing from Delhi in front of the CBI Special Court. He told the court that he was not present on the spot, including the incident, claiming himself innocent. This whole matter is motivated by politics and I have been framed in a fake way. Joshi has dismissed all the CBI allegations completely and also called the statements of the witnesses as false.
