In view of the dwindling number of covid patients, the Health Ministry has taken an important decision on Monday. For this, OPD services are to be started here as before 3 February by closing the corona hospital already running in all districts of the state including Varanasi. Now two hospitals in Varanasi, Meerut, four hospitals in Lucknow as well as one hospital in the remaining districts of the state are being run as covid hospitals. The good thing is that in the medical colleges which have been closed as Corona Hospital, medical classes will be held in the same way as before covid.

In all the districts including Varanasi, the number of corona patients has reduced, so covid Hospital is being closed. On Monday, orders have been issued to CMO and District Magistrates on behalf of Additional Chief Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad. After sanitization in covid hospitals, services i.e. OPD, recruitment facilities etc. are to be restored from February 3. According to the order of the Additional Chief Secretary, active quarantine is also to be ended from February 15 after corona vaccination.

Covid Hospital will be able to be built again on five days' notice: The Additional Chief Secretary has also said in his order that if there is any need, then covid Hospital can be re-established on 5 days' notice. For which the CMO will have to select and examine the hospitals concerned.
