Indore: MP state MSME Minister Ompraksh Saklecha hasw said that in order to encourage industrialists, efforts are being made to reduce the cost of production through cluster development in the state.

Under this, various schemes are being run by the government to bring down the cost of energy, transportation, inventory, land etc.

The Minister said that recycling is very important to reduce the cost of production. “Through recycling, we can recycle the waste by industrial units and use it in the production. We have to make the country the largest manufacturing country, for which we have to establish such industrial units, which will reduce our imports and increase exports'', said Saklecha while addressing a one-day workshop for local cluster developers and industrialists organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department of the government here on Friday.

He said that under the `Aatmnirbhar Madhya Pradesh' scheme, the opportunities of employment prospects for the new entrepreneurs and youth are being doubled. ``Madhya Pradesh is the central state of the country. Our biggest strength is our connectivity. Our strategic location gives us the potential to become the production and logistics hub of the country'', the minister said, adding that the government aims to start all industrial clusters in the state by 2022.
