Srinagar: After the removal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a big political development. All the major political parties of Jammu and Kashmir have called for the coming together for the restoration of Article 370. The political parties of Jammu and Kashmir released the manifesto on Saturday. The joint statement issued calls for the restoration of Section 370 and the former state of the state.

The declaration names Farooq Abdullah of National Conference, Mehbooba Mufti of PDP, GA Mir of JKPCC, MY Tarigami of CPI-M, Sajad Gani Lone of JKPC, Muzaffar Shah of JKANC. The statement issued said that since the announcement of the central government on 4 August 2019, political parties have tried to negotiate basic level with great difficulty. A resolution has been passed in this meeting. The statement said that the incident of 5 August 2019 has unexpectedly changed the relationship between the Central Government and Jammu and Kashmir.

The statement said that sections 370 and 35A were repealed. The state has been divided into two union territories. An attempt was made to disallow its constitution. The parties of Jammu and Kashmir termed the announcement of the Central Government on 5 August 2019 as unconstitutional, saying that it is indeed going to weaken the people of Jammu and Kashmir and challenge their basic identity.
