Honda Motor Company has unveiled the new CB500X for global markets in 2022. New colour options have been added to the annually updated model, as well as changes to the suspension package. For starters, the mid-displacement adventure motorcycle's 2022 model now has 41mm Showa upside-down forks.
This is a substantial upgrade over the old telescopic forks. A new cast aluminium front wheel is one of the bike's other notable features. This unit is lighter than the one that was initially found. In addition, the bike now has two 296mm disc brakes. These units are intended to replace the single 310mm disc present on the predecessor. Dual-channel ABS is also available as a safety feature on the brakes. The bike also sports a redesigned swingarm, which is 1 kg lighter than the old one.
The Honda CB500X receives a new Pearl Organic Green with Black colour scheme for 2022. The remainder of the motorbike is unchanged save from these changes. The bike's 471cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 46.9bhp at 8,600rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm, has been kept. A six-speed transmission is used.
There is also no modification to the digital instrument cluster on the motorbike, which includes Shift Up and Gear Position functions. Expect the bike to be released in India shortly after its worldwide debut. However, at a somewhat massive price. The current model costs 6.87 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
