All corona protocols to continue across the country till September 30: Ministry of Home Affairs

New Delhi: All preventive measures taken on the global epidemic Coronavirus (COVID-19) will continue till the end of next month. Guidelines in this regard have been issued by the Union Home Ministry (MHA) on Saturday. It has asked states across the country to follow the necessary instructions related to the Covid Protocol.

It said that care should be taken not to be too crowded during the coming festive season and continue to focus on five policies - tests, tracks, treats, vaccinations, and appropriate behavior for covid. At the same time, continue testing and monitoring for safety in areas where the infection is low. As per the directions issued by the Union Home Ministry (MHA) on Saturday, all corona-related protocols will now continue till September 30. According to the Union Health Ministry, record data this morning revealed that a total of 46,759 new cases have been reported in the country in 24 hours, the highest in nearly two months.

Meanwhile, The University of Jans Hopkins in the US reported that global cases of Covid-19 have increased to 21.45 million and the death toll from the epidemic has risen to 44.8 million. A total of 5.12 billion people have been vaccinated so far.
