Sambhal: The inmates who killed two policemen by throwing chilli powder into the eyes of police personnel and snatching the rifle of the cop and absconding are accused of the 2014 Ikram massacre in Moradabad. The three prisoners have been identified as Shakeel, Dharampal and Kamal. Kamal had kidnapped engineer Ikram on the pretext of giving a lift in a 2014 car and killed engineer Ikram after receiving a ransom of Rs 20 lakh.

Moradabad police had sent five accused, including Shakeel, Dharampal, Kamal, to jail for the murder of the engineer. The engineer murder case is going on in Moradabad court. Two days later, on July 20, the court was to pronounce its verdict in the case. The verdict was scheduled to punish the three accused. The trio planned to abscond to avoid the same punishment.

The three escaped prisoners after killing the soldiers are on the list of vicious criminals. A preliminary investigation by the police has revealed the creepy intentions of the absconding prisoners. Police are searching for the three culprits. Police have resorted to social media to trace the culprits. The police have posted pictures and details of the three criminals on social media.
