Do you know that World Tortoise Day is celebrated on 23 May? This day is celebrated to make people aware of turtles and their habitat. This year is the 20th anniversary of World Turtle Day. Every year since 2000, the American Turtle Rescue (ATR), a non-profit organization founded in 1990, sponsors the celebration of World Turtle Day. To mark the day, the Twitter handle of World Turtle Day has come up with a caption contest for all turtles lovers.
