Dehradun: The devastation caused by a cloudburst in a rural area of Pradesh can be seen fully within a two kilometre radius of Khida. The sudden rains caused the small drains to bulge. All the items including the rations two bulls have also been washed away. The drinking water scheme and avenues of the village have also been demolished. There have been huge quantities of debris in the road at three places.

As per the information received from sources, the body of the Ram Sinh, who were reeling under water in an attempt to save the cattle, was not found till late night. The head of the station, Ramesh Singh Bohra and team is looking for the body. The houses of Baladevi wife Kunwar Singh, Jayanti Devi wife Kundan Singh, Govind Singh Putra Narayan Singh and Jagat Singh Putra Kham Singh have been completely destroyed in the same village.

According to information, people living in these houses somehow ran and saved lives. All the goods have been washed away including ration and Jewlary. The two bulls of Jagat Singh have also been washed away, and their second house has also been damaged. Chandan Singh's house is also flooded with cattle are also buried. The social activist said that half of the shops and bikes of Ramesh Singh have been washed away in Junkani.
