New Delhi: Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc, experienced a remarkable surge in its stock prices on Thursday as it announced the expansion of its AI-powered chatbot, Bard, into the European and Brazilian markets. The company's shares soared by 4.9%, marking the most substantial one-day percentage gain since February.

Alphabet's decision to expand Bard internationally is widely regarded as a testament to the chatbot's immense potential. Bard, a sophisticated language model, possesses the ability to generate text, translate languages, produce creative content across various formats, and provide informative answers to user queries.

Although still in development, Bard has already acquired a diverse range of skills, including the ability to follow instructions diligently, tackle open-ended or peculiar questions comprehensively, and create imaginative pieces such as poems, code, scripts, music, emails, and letters.
