On Friday, Amaal Mallik took the stage in Allahabad at Shambhunath College. The show was crowded over 7,000 students and during the incident, Amaal has suffered an injury.

However, he about the incident says, "It was unfortunate that I hurt myself while signing autographs and clicking selfies. But I’m getting better and should be fit in no time!" Some fans from audience had jumped on him. He admits that it was purely out of love and excitement and that he can't blame them.

Amaal also added, "The security wasn’t up to the mark."

Amaal says, "I already have a ligament and meniscus tear in my left knee due to an eight-year-old football injury and this one happened with my right foot. My foot landed wrong due to the commotion and due to the fences getting breached. It then got stepped on by the audience and it got really badly sprained and swollen. Luckily, it’s not a fracture but it’s a bad muscle injury, but no tear, thankfully."
