Srinagar: There are only twelve days left for the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra. While the process of reaching Lakhanpur has intensified for the last three days, the committees anchoring the Amarnath Yatra route have started making elaborate security arrangements. A non-discriminatory security circle is being developed amid the constant input received by the security agencies to disrupt the yatra.

According to sources, additional companies of BSF and CRPF reached Kathua on Monday. Additional deployment of security forces is likely to be held in the coming days to further tighten the security guard. On the other hand, it has also been decided to enhance the security of the anchor sites. According to sources, strict security guards are also being prepared on the National Highway from the Indo-Pakistan International Border to Lakhanpur.
