Amazon India has started its food delivery service in India. Amazon's food delivery service will directly compete with big players like Swiggy and Jomato. Amazon food delivery starts in Bangalore. The company has partnered with local restaurants for food delivery. Amazon claims that the restaurants it has partnered with have proper arrangements for cleanliness. Amazon has issued a certificate for this.

The company says that following the transition, it is following the High Standards Rule on hygiene. At its launch, an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement that the company has launched its food delivery service based on customer feedback. The new service aims to help local businesses, especially restaurants that are experiencing difficulties due to lockdown.

Amazon's food delivery in Bangalore is currently available in four PIN codes, including 560048, 560037, 560066 and 560103, although the company has not released a list of restaurants from where food packaging will take place. Report in February this year It was reported that Amazon is planning to introduce food delivery service in India, but due to the lockdown, the service has been delayed.
