Bezos is scheduled to come here for a company event and a meeting with government officials. Three sources told Reuters that Bezos will attend the Amazon event in New Delhi. Time is sought to meet the Prime Minister

A source aware of the development said that Bezos has sought an appointment with the Prime Minister and other government officials. It is expected that during this meeting, mainly e-commerce will be discussed. At the moment, more details about Bezos's visit could not be found. When asked about the confirmation of his visit, Amazon has not received any reply from him yet. The Prime Minister's Office has also not commented on this. Kat has been campaigning against online retail companies Amazon and Walmart-Flipkart since 2015. The organization has been accusing these companies of huge discounts and violations of India's FDI rules. However, both e-commerce companies continue to deny these allegations. Amazon has said in the past that its platform has opened the doors of business for thousands of small sellers, artists, weavers and women traders. At the moment, Kat does not agree with this argument. CAT General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said, "We have planned a peaceful rally against Jeff Bezos in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata as well as all major cities and small towns." We are expecting one lakh traders to participate in the demonstrations. ''
