Amazon gives statement, says, 'Email to employees banning TikTok was a mistake'

Indian government put a ban on 59 Chinese apps simultaneously, now the eyes of the whole world have stopped on Chinese apps. On the previous day, a report was revealed in which it was told that countries like America and Australia are thinking about banning Chinese apps. Recently, it has been found that e-commerce company Amazon has sent an email to its employees asking everyone to delete the Chinese app TikTok from their phones. Although after the email went viral, Amazon gave a clarification that the e-mail which asks to delete Tiktok was sent by mistake.

Amazon employees are still using both app and web versions of TikTok. A spokesperson of the company said that the e-mail that TikTok uninstalled had gone away due to a deficiency in the system. No change can be made in the company's policy regarding TikTok.

The copy of the e-mail with Amazon employees went viral. After which TikTok said in a statement that he is committed to his users regarding privacy and if there is any problem then the company can talk on this issue. Recently, India has banned 59 Chinese apps. After the government, the Indian Army has also banned 89 mobile apps, including Chinese apps like TikTok and Indian apps like Sharechat.
