The world's second-richest person and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has also become a philanthropist. Bezos has donated more than six billion rupees ($ 9.58 million) for the rehabilitation of homeless people. This amount has been given to 32 organizations of America, which are engaged in such works.

Second-time donation
Bezos gave this amount for the second time under his Day One Family Fund Annual Leadership Award. Under this amount, apart from the homeless people, lower-income groups will be used for better education. A year ago, the fund donated $ 9.75 million to 24 organizations. This time, the Central Florida-based Homeless Service Network has received the highest amount of Rs 37 crore ($ 525 million).

Jeff Bezos has proposed $ 2000 million to be spent on philanthropic works. Out of these, one hundred thousand million dollars have been set up to open schools for the homeless and one thousand crores for the low-income group. Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $ 10900 million. This is slightly less than the net worth of Bill Gates, the world's richest man. Bill Gates is the founder of Microsoft and is also the co-chairman of the philanthropic organization Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation.

India will visit in January
Jeff Bezos will visit India in January next year. During this time, he is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will also launch an annual program for American retailers in India. Bezos has expressed concern about changes in laws related to e-commerce companies in India. It is believed that Bezos may raise this issue during his meeting with PM Modi.

Amazon has invested over five billion dollars in India. This is Amazon's largest investment amount in any foreign country. According to a consulting company report, Flipkart and Amazon sold products worth Rs 31000 crore during the 15-day festive season in October this year.
