New Delhi:- Amazon's Project Kuiper aims to deliver fast and affordable broadband services through a constellation of over 3,000 satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The company already employs thousands of people working on this project to help millions of people around the world without a reliable internet connection.

Amazon is also working to bring Project Kuiper's satellite-based broadband connection to India, where it will compete with the likes of Elon Musk's Starlink. Earlier this year, Amazon unveiled a range of consumer devices that help connect to its broadband satellite network. The company said its design is smaller, more affordable, and more powerful than its competitors.

As the rest of the team builds production satellites, they plan to continue construction in late 2023, with the first launch in 2024. 50 percent of the constellations must be deployed by June 2026 to cover the entire planet. Once that's done, you'll be able to cover a range of +/- 56 degrees.

They are very excited to bring it to India and believe there are great opportunities everywhere: India, Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America. As they speak, they are actively working on it. In India, we are working with the government and potential partners. They have nothing to announce today, but India is a very important occasion for them.
