India's richest wealth has increased by 50 percent amid pandemic, as per Forbes with Mukesh Ambani remaining the wealthiest Indian for the 14th consecutive year since 2008. In 2021, India's top valued firm Reliance Industries' (RIL) Chairman Ambani added USD 4 billion to his net worth, showed Forbes list of India's richest for 2021. 

Gautam Adani continues to be the 2nd richest Indian for the third consecutive year with a USD 74.8 billion fortune, only USD17.9 billion shy of Ambani. Adani is the biggest gainer in both percentage and dollar terms as his wealth nearly tripled during the year.

With  USD 31 billion HCL Tech's Shiv Nadar stood at the third rank. Radhakishan Damani retained the fourth spot with his net worth nearly doubling to  USD29.4 billion from  USD15.4 billion, as his supermarket chain Avenue Supermarts opened 22 new stores in the fiscal year ending March. 

The top 10 richest in India, as per Forbes list, are: Mukesh Ambani ( USD92.7 billion), Gautam Adani ( USD74.8 billion), Shiv Nadar ( USD31 billion), Radhakishan Damani (USD29.4 billion), Cyrus Poonawalla ( USD19 billion), Lakshmi Mittal ( USD18.8 billion), Savitri Jindal ( USD18 billion), Uday Kotak (USD16.5 billion), Pallonji Mistry ( USD16.4 billion), and Kumar Birla ( USD15.8 billion).
