By the International Cricket Council (ICC),  Part-time bowler Ambati Rayudu has been banned from bowling in international cricket after he failed to submit to a test of his bowling action. During the first OD his action was reported by the match officials when match  between India and Australia in the recently-concluded series in Sydney. Rayudu bowled just two overs in the match. 

ICC reported statement as "The player elected not to submit to a test of his bowling action within the stipulated period of 14 days of being reported for a suspect action, and therefore he has been suspended with immediate effect in accordance with clause 4.2 of the ICC regulations, which can be found here. The suspension will remain in place until he is tested, and can demonstrate he is able to bowl with a legal action,"

Although Rayudu was used as a part-time bowler by Indian captain Virat Kohli in the ODI opener against Australia. However, his action came under the scanner and was reported after the match. He was supposed to undergo a test of his action under 14 days but he failed to oblige and was subsequently suspended from bowling.  He will remain suspended until he can prove that he can bowl with legal action.

Here Rayudu bowled two overs in the game at the Sydney Cricket Ground and conceded 13 runs. He failed to make an impact with the ball and struggled to find the rhythm before being taken off by Kohli. India had a sole all-rounder in Ravindra Jadeja, who was playing in the match which forced Kohli to hand the ball to Rayudu in search of a wicket but the move didn't pay off.
