Ambulance driver ran away after hearing Coronavirus rumour

A unique case reported from Deoria district of UP. This incident is reported from Nepal in Naryav village of Bhagalpur block. Police called an ambulance to take him to the hospital. The driver reached the door with an ambulance. After hearing tha rumours that patient is coronavirus infected, driver runaway.

For your information, let us tell you that a person from the village works as a labourer in a sugarcane mill in Nepal. Neighbours made a noise of getting coronavirus on Thursday by looking at his symptoms. There was chaos among the villagers about this. People started turning their heads after going to the door of the laborer. People called 112 police and gave information about it. Soldier Ramesh Chandra Prasad reached his home and called the ambulance by calling 108. When the ambulance reached Narianv village, the driver was told by the people that he was suspected to be suffering from coronavirus.

SO Ravindra Kumar Ravi reached his village regarding this matter, but he could not even send the patient from his car to the hospital while keeping distance due to fear of the virus. Police tried to transport him to the hospital by private vehicle but no one was ready. Medical Officer Ranjit Kumar Kushwaha, in-charge of Bhagalpur, said that the team was sent to the house. No symptoms of corona have been detected. On March 17, he had taken the medicine from PHC, describing it as cold.
