Ambulance to ferry alcohol and dancer from Russia on alumina Bash of Doctors

In a sensational happening, ambulances were allegedly used to transport cartons of liquor bottles and the Russian belly dancers were called to dance during an alumni party celebration for the doctors at the state-run Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College hospital on Monday.While the principal-in-charge of the college, who was reportedly found off guard regarding the event, ordered a departmental probe into the incident late last evening, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has condemned the incident.  Dr KK Aggarwal of the IMA has stated that the use of ambulance in Meerut for transportation od liquor had hurt the prestigiousness of the organisation.  The problem began during the silver jubilee function bash organised by the old school association at the Garh road premises of the college, the Times of India reported.  Reportedly, several famous doctors from the 1992 batch of the college were also in attendance at the event.  

Sources said that alcohol was served at the event, which also saw a few Russian belly dancers performing on stage during the party.  Meanwhile, principal-in-charge of the hospital, Vinay Agarwal said that it was not immediately clear if the ambulances used belonged to the hospital or to other private hospitals.  Reports suggested that the event had caused difficulty to the patients as well.
