Several new facts are coming out in the case of a girl who died after being raped by a 'donor' at a private orphanage in Ameenpur. It seems that Venugopal Reddy sexually assaulted the girl for a year. Police said the girl said this in her testimony. Ashram administrators told police that the girl had undergone surgery for a urinary tract infection as she got slightly injured. Police have registered cases under the POCSO Act and Atrocities sections against the administrators of the Aminpur orphanage who were the reason for the death of the girl. The ashram was seized on Thursday.

The girl's parents died in a road accident. In 2015, her relatives admitted her to an orphanage. The girl was taken home by relatives on March 21 due to the lockdown. The child protection committee found that the girl was also beaten by relatives who took her home.

A complaint was lodged with the police against them.
