Washington: Tensions between the United States and China continue to deepen in the South China Sea. The United States has deployed two aircraft carriers and a large number of fighter aircraft in response to China's 70-day long maneuvers in the disputed area of the South China Sea. China, tensed by this action of America, has also deployed fighter aircraft on its artificial islands.

Tensions in the area have deepened due to the ongoing counter-attack between China and the US. Pictures from the satellite have revealed that China has deployed 8 combat aircraft to the airbase built on the disputed Woody Islands in the South China Sea. Of these, 4 are J-11Bs and the rest are bomber aircraft and fighter jets capable of targeting American warships.

According to experts, such a large number of fighter jets have been deployed on the Woody Islands for the first time. This military base is the largest military base in the Paracel Islands. This area is connected to China, Vietnam, and Taiwan. With the arrival of these Chinese aircraft, the South China Sea is becoming increasingly militarized.
