Washington: Recently, the US has kept China and Pakistan on the watch list due to allegations of violation of religious freedom. The US has made this list based on serious complaints that hamper religious freedom. The observance of religious freedom has a special place in the foreign policy of the Trump administration.

China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia are also included in the monitoring list of 9 countries: The latest list released on Wednesday, December 18, by the US State Department , states China and Pakistan as well as Myanmar, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is its name. The Ministry of External Affairs has expressed concern over the situation of minorities in these countries. Institutional suppression of religious activities continues in all these countries.
